The Latest

The last month or so have been full of drama and stress. Chance has decided to leave Fidelity Investments and move on to something that seems a little less glamorous, but in fact will better financially for our family. We have gone back and forth about this decision many times over the last couple weeks and finally we knew what we had to do. Chance was offered a job managing a Dairy Queen, he was offered a job managing a Sonic, and he was offered a job with another department within Fidelity. Although it breaks both of our hearts to leave fidelity after he worked to hard to get that job and to learn all the info he needed to past the the Series 6 and 63 tests, we have decided to take the Dairy Queen Job. I know what everyone must be thinking.... how can Dairy Queen pay more than Fidelity? Well, it does. A lot more. So we will be moving out of Chance's parents house after the hollidays. We are very excited to get back out on our own.
Carlie has also been sick for the last month or so. It seems like she catches one virus after another. He nose has been running for weeks. She's had a cough on and off, fevers that last up to 4 days at a time, and diarrhea.
Carlie is turning two this month on the 18th. We were hoping to have her party at our own place but there just wasn't enough time to move. She had her 2 year checkup last week and everything is just wonderful. She is jsut below the 50 precentile for height, just below the 5 percentile for weight. She's is very petite. She is so smart. She has at least 10 or more songs memorized. She can count to 5 all by herself and count five things somtimes she makes it to 7. She's can sing the abc's if someone sings with her. She speaks in 4 word sentences. Which I was told is amazing for a child that's just barely turning 2. She repeats everything she hears, and sometimes that's not a good thing. She loves saying oh my gosh, dang it, and oh crap! We all have to start watching what we say around her.
She is really into Christmas this year. She loves Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch. She knows the whole frosty song and even all the names of the characters in it. We get such a kick out of her. She is so much fun.
Well, I could go on but it would take hours for me to finish talking about Carlie.
