Family Fun at the Park

Chance had a few hours off from work today so we decided we'd better take advantage of this rare occasion. We went to the park for a little while and let the kids play. Landon loves the swings. Carlie would rather go down the slides. It was just a short visit maybe and hour but it was still nice. Then we "splurged" and got Carlie the fish she's been asking for since we moved in to this house. They were the cheapest fish there and we got the cheapest fish bowl they had too. It came to about $10 :) Of course she had to take the money out of her piggy bank to pay for them. When she wants something that we think she doesn't need then we make her buy it herself. So far she has purchased an umbrella and her new fish. I just hope I can keep them alive for a while. We explained to her that fish don't live very long just in case. We named them: tiger paw, tiger lilly, tiger woods, tiger stripes, and just tiger. Chance and I wanted to name the last one tiger shark but Carlie wouldn't hear of it. Needless to say Carlie is in love with her new little tiger fishies.
